🎃 OTHER NECESSARY INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg of pumpkin (squash)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of water

👨🍳 STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION:

Step 1: Prepare the pumpkin

Peel and cut the pumpkin into medium cubes.

Step 2: Cooking with spices

Cook the pumpkin with water, cinnamon, cloves and panela until very soft.

Step 3: Remove spices

Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves.

Step 4: Make a puree

Mash the pumpkin with a fork until you get a smooth puree.

Step 5: Thicken

Dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold water and add it to the pot.

Step 6: Cook until thickened

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

Step 7: Serve

Serve warm or cold. It's aromatic and delicious!
